Overview
SPAN Directors and Volunteers are engaged in a variety of projects, both in an effort to build a stronger, more effective foundation for SPAN, and on-site with partner NGOs in Africa. This page describes some of these projects: historical, in-motion, and forthcoming.
SPAN volunteers are encouraged to work with partner NGOs in whatever capacity they feel most comfortable, engaging with empathy, passion, patience, and skills. Volunteer efforts take on the form of physical construction, wiring, and plumbing; building and ground maintenance; cleaning, teaching, playing, listening, and learning. Helping to organize events, fund raising, and solid, on-site project management are always welcome.
